Amtrak’s terrific daily Carl Sandburg service let’s Windy City residents spend a leisurely day at America’s Furniture Showplace; and still return home early the same evening. The Carl Sandburg No. 381 leaves Union Station at 7:35 AM; arriving in Kewanee at 9:43 AM (with stops in La Grange, Naperville, Plano, Mendota, and Princeton). When you descend from the train, you will see Good’s West entrance from the Kewanee depot. The Carl Sandburg 382 then leaves Kewanee for the return trip at 7:24 PM; arriving back at Union Station at 9:48 PM (or, spend the night in one of our luxurious European Bed & Breakfast Suites; and return to Chicago the next morning, or evening).

Residents of Quincy, Macomb, and Galesburg can hop on board Amtrak’s Illinois Zephyr; and pop up to America’s Furniture Showplace for a day of fun and relaxing shopping, too. The No. 380 Zephyr leaves Quincy every morning at 6:12 AM; with stops in Macomb at 7:00 AM; and Galesburg at 7:38 AM. It arrives in Downtown Kewanee at 8:06 AM. Then, the No. 383 Zephyr heads back home the same day; leaving Kewanee at 8:03 PM; stopping in Galesburg at 8:34 PM; Macomb at 9:12 PM; and arriving in Quincy at 10:10 PM.
