Ride to Pluto and Good's Furniture in Kewanee on June 21st and 22nd
On June 21st and 22nd 2008, Lakeview Museum in Peoria (creator of the world’s largest Solar System scale model; and location of the Sun in that scale model) will hold its annual Interplanetary Bicycle Ride.  This incredible journey will include a whole lot of fun, food, and good old-fashioned exercise.

Those who reach Good’s Furniture in Kewanee, home to our beloved Planet Pluto, will travel approximately 14 billion (scaled) miles (including a jaunt through the Kuiper Comet Belt).  Consider the bragging rights for having accomplished such a trip; not to mention the reversal of the aging process that you will experience (since ride speeds will be in excess of the speed of light - 186,000 miles per second - there are relativistic implications; including the possibility that participants will actually return younger than when they started).

There are several options for reaching Good’s Furniture and Planet Pluto.  For those of you who register for the premium package, a complimentary root beer float or specialty beer awaits you at Good’s Wine Cellar Bistro & Bakery (kindly provide proof of registration).  For all the registration details and route options, visit
